History of Rajasthan

Rajasthan is located in northwestern part of India. This is the largest state in India sharing the borders with the north western, western regions touching the borders of Indo Pakistan. Rajasthan is known for the beautiful and stunning forts which stand as pride and prestige of Rajasthan and India.

These forts and palaces are known for the examples of marvelous architecture and reminds of vast heritage of Rajasthan. The endless desert reigns and the intensely built and forts adds cariousness to visit. The major forts and palaces of Rajasthan which are more attractive are Amber Fort, Chittorgarh Fort, City Palace, Hawa Mahal, Junagadh Fort, Mehrangarh Fort, Sonar Kila, Nargrah fort, Jaigrah fort etc.

The Aravali mountain range which is spread in between the zones and the where the mountain ranges are the pleasant one to visit. The hill station of Mount Abu gives the best scenery view from this range. The Rajasthan history dates back to more than about 5000 years and the mythological origin of this history makes a wider impression in the minds of the Ancient, Medieval and Modern society.

Many historic wars have been fought in this land of Rajasthan where many rulers have ruled. The regions such as Nagaur, Ajmer, Ranthanbhore where many worriers have made the dynasty and the chivalry and many brave soldiers including Rana Uday Singh, Rana Pratap, Bhappa Rawal, Rana Kumbha and Prithviraj Chauhan and others were part of Rajasthan history.
