    1. Gagron Fort

    Situated in Jhalwar district, this fort is recognized as the World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The walls of this fort speak the dreadful stories of Jauhar performed by women to save their chastity. It has a remarkable construction! Surrounded by water on three sides and supporting the hill of Burj on the remaining. Another unique feature of Gagron fort is that, it houses three courtyards.     2. Ranthambore Fort

    Located within the Ranthambore National Park this fort is a part of ‘Hill Forts of Rajasthan’. It was built by Chauhans in 944 CE and held it till 13th century. Every wall of the fort, speaks the history of the fort. The fort gladly stood against the attacks of foreign invaders to protect Rajput Empire. Situated on the top of the hill, the view of National Park from fort is itself breathtaking. Surrounded by mountains and dense forest, sometimes the big cats have been spotted from there.     3. Jantar Mantar

    Situated in Jaipur, this collection of architectural astronomical instruments was built by Sawai Jai Singh. Jantar Mantar is proud to hold the title of “an expression of the astronomical skills and cosmological concepts of the court of a scholarly prince at the end of the Mughal period” in the World Heritage List. The huge structures are geometrical devices which are used for scientific purpose. Even till date, the astronomical structures are used for various astronomical purposes.

    4. Mehngarh Fort

    Established in the year 1459 by Rao Jodha, it is one of the most magnificent forts of Rajasthan. Located in the outskirts of Jodhpur city, the colossal fort magnetizes large number of domestic as well as international tourists. Visitors can enter the fort through 7 gates which were constructed by 7 different rulers in respect of victory over Bikaner & Jaipur armies. Chamundi Devi Temple and Nagnechiaji Mandir inside the fort is the major attraction for travelers. Apart from these temples, there are majestic palaces such as Moti Mahal, Phool Mahal, Sheesh Mahal etc. and museum showcasing collection of palanquins, royal costumes, paintings, musical instruments etc. within the fort.
